Partnerships and Media

Contact ILSI about partnership opportunities or media enquiries, including interviews, corridor data requests, and press materials.

ILSI works with a wide range of organisations — governments, employers, development-finance institutions, universities, and civil society groups — and regularly engages with journalists covering labour migration. This page is the right starting point for both.

Partnership enquiries

If your organisation is interested in a formal partnership with ILSI — for example, as a corridor implementation partner, a research collaborator (see research partnerships), or a development-finance partner (see investment pipeline) — describe your organisation, the nature of the proposed partnership, and the corridor or theme of interest.

Media enquiries

Journalists can request interviews with ILSI spokespeople, corridor data for a specific story, or comment on a labour migration development. Please include your outlet, deadline, and the specific angle of your story where possible, so we can route your request to the right team quickly.

Government press offices and parliamentary media teams should also use this route rather than the general contact form. For a formal policy briefing rather than a media comment, see request a briefing.

What we can and cannot share with media

ILSI can speak on the record about our institutional work, published research, and general corridor trends drawn from our data hub. We do not disclose details of individual member cases to journalists, consistent with our privacy policy, even where a case has already attracted public attention through other channels. Where a story concerns a specific, identifiable case, we can speak to the general pattern it reflects without confirming or discussing the individual involved.

Response times for journalists

We aim to respond to media enquiries promptly given the time-sensitive nature of most press deadlines. If you have a hard deadline, please state it clearly in your message so we can prioritise accordingly, and let us know if a written statement would meet your needs where an interview is not feasible in the time available.

Partnership timelines

Partnership enquiries are generally less time-sensitive than media requests but still benefit from clarity about your organisation's own timeline, particularly where a partnership would need to align with a budget cycle, board decision, or existing programme design process on your side. Sharing this early helps ILSI plan its own response appropriately.
